1. smbus controller>update>no not this time>install from specific location>don’t search>system devices>in manufacturers select Compaq ;in model select Compaq deskpro thermal sensor > click next.
2. Procedure to install graphics driver
(a)Run the setup of sp36411.exe >next>license accept agreement >select 2nd option don’t remove>error will come >close that window.

(b)Video controller>update>no not this time>install from specific>dont search>display adapters>have disk>browse>c drive swsetup>sp36411>graphics>kit11241>click on open> click on ok> click on next>yes to the warning msg.>restart.

(c)Video controller (vga compatible) >update>no not this time>install from specific>don’t search>display adapters>have disk>browse>c drive swsetup >sp36411>graphics > kit11241 > click on open> click on ok> click on next>click yes to the warning msg.>restart.

2.) Click on FIRST Download TAB.
3.) Page will get refreshed and a yellow bar will come just below the address bar. 
4.) Click on that yellow bar and click download file.
5.) Save the file on Desktop and extract the same as it would be zipped.
6.) Go to Device manager and right click on Ethernet Controller.
7.) Click on Update Driver, then click on Advanced Option and then select Don't Search option.
8.) Select the category Network Adaptors and click next.
9.) Click on HAVE DISK and then click browse, go to the extracted folder and then select the file net5211.inf
10.) Click on Open > OK > Next.
11.) Driver will get installed succesfully


PROCESS FOR INSTALLING AUDIO AND MODEM
Run the setup of sp32395.exe=universal audio architecture 
Run the setup of sp35940.exe=it will give error say ok to that.
Run setup of sp35942.exe=it will also give same error say ok to that also.
== 1.Open device manager and right-click on Modem device on High definition Audio Bus
If the screen comes with the option CAN windows connect to windows update to search for driver
Select no not this time and click next or directly go to second step.
2. Select Install from a list of specific location (Advanced) Click Next
3. Select Don't Search. I will choose the driver to install. 
4. Select Modems from the list of Hardware type
5. In manufacturers list select Compaq and in models select any of the 56 pci modem Click on Have Disk
6. Click on Browse and navigate to C:\swsetup\sp35942 and click on CPL30A5m and click on Open and OK
7. Click Next 
8. It will give you an update driver warning message. Click on yes.
Will start installing the driver 
9. Click on Finish
Don't restart the notebook. Apply the same procedure to force the Audio driver, the only difference is we need to select Sound, video and game controllers and in manufacturers and model list select Compaq Presario bezel volume controller and click on have disk 
And then need to browse to the C:\swsetup\sp35940 and point to the CPL30A5a as shown below.
Click on Browse and navigate to C:\swsetup\sp35940 and click on CPL30A5m and click on Open and OK.

NOTE DON’T RESTART THE NOTEBOOK IN THE PROCESS OF INSTALLATION OF AUDIO AND MODEM
